TOMBOLA ALLA MENO

Dear DIVES,

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 8 January at Westmoreland Church, Bethesda, to start the year off on a cheerful note with a lovely… Tombola “alla meno” , as they say in Tuscany.

Husbands/partners (so-called "DIVans") are also more than welcome.

What does it consist of? The rules are those of the traditional Neapolitan tombola but it changes… The prize pool.

Do you have objects at home (obviously not of value) that you find particularly ugly, funny and that you are even ashamed to recycle? Knick-knacks, strange ornaments and gifts that you are not too appreciated that you are willing to part with more than willingly? Here, they will be our ideal prizes.

The only rule: gifts that we can't wait to find a new home for must arrive already wrapped . Because no one should know what awaits them...

But it doesn't end there: at the end of the glorious wins, a negotiation can begin to take home the least ugly gift and, above all, to avoid the risk of finding yourself winning the same object that you put up for grabs.

A prank game where, for the first time, you will hope not to shout: “Tombola”!!!
